Clinical Psychologist

Dr. Lindsay is a registered psychologist who earned her PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Guelph. With over 10 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and their families, she is passionate about helping young people navigate challenges, build resilience, and thrive.

Dr. Lindsay takes a collaborative, compassionate, and client-centered approach to therapy. Grounded in a humanistic perspective, she believes every individual has the capacity for growth when provided with the right support. She tailors treatment to each client's unique strengths, needs, developmental stage, and goals, drawing from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness-Based Self-Compassion, DBT-informed strategies, and Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT). She values ongoing feedback throughout the therapeutic process to ensure therapy feels meaningful, effective, and responsive to each client's needs.

Dr. Lindsay provides therapy and comprehensive psychological assessments for children and adolescents experiencing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), developmental trauma, emotion regulation difficulties, behavioural challenges, self-harm, suicidal ideation, and social-emotional concerns.

She has trained and worked in diverse settings, including the Halton District School Board, SickKids Centre for Community Mental Health, Hamilton Health Sciences, and private practice. During her residency, she provided care in both community mental health and acute care settings, including McMaster Children's Hospital.

Dr. Lindsay strives to create a warm, supportive environment where children, teens, and families feel heard, understood, and empowered. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors, exploring nature, and spending quality time with her family, including her two dogs and cat.
