Ph.D., C.Psych.
Clinical Psychologist
Jenny is a clinical psychologist with over thirteen years of experience supporting people in community, school, and private practice settings. She holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Guelph and an MA in Counselling Psychology from the University of Western Ontario.
Dr. Jenny is a warm, compassionate, and intuitive clinician whose approach is authentic, down-to-earth, and deeply relational. She helps individuals explore who they are and what they value, make sense of their emotions and mental health difficulties, and move through periods of change and struggle with greater clarity, self-awareness, and self-compassion.
Grounded in developmental and attachment-based principles, Dr. Jenny’s work is trauma-informed, inclusive, and affirming of all identities. She views therapy as a space for trust, connection, and genuine transformation. Drawing from emotion-focused, compassion-focused, relational, mindfulness, and acceptance-based approaches, she uses emotional experiences that arise in session as opportunities for insight, healing, and growth—helping clients build resilience and deepen their sense of self along their journey toward greater well-being and authenticity.
One of Dr. Jenny’s areas of focus is transitional-aged youth- meaning youth transitioning from adolescence through to adulthood. Through her work she has she has developed a deep understanding of the developmental, emotional, and relational changes that shape this stage of life. Here, Dr. Jenny helps young people navigate the complex blend of independence, identity exploration, and emotional growth that often defines these years. Dr. Jenny’s work with adults is clinically supervised by Dr. Dina Lafoyiannis.
